Jon graduated with a degree in Business from Calvin College. Starting his career in financial services, Jon was consistently in the Top 5% in sales in the banking position he held. Jon’s experience in finance, sales, and marketing uniquely qualify him to lead the team at Midwest Energy Group.
Growing up as a young lad, Jon was a nationally ranked BMX rider and an International Free Throw Champion. While at Calvin College, Jon played point guard when they won the National Championship in 2000, and was a two year captain as an upperclassmen. Jon enjoys being a father of two small kiddos, loves Diet Coke and is one of the biggest Green Bay Packer fans you’ll ever meet.
Eric DeVries, CEM, Head of Engineering

Eric graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science – Mechanical Engineering from Calvin College. After beginning his career in the automation industry, Eric has developed into the role of Head of Engineering for Midwest Energy Group. Eric brings a unique combination of engineering, interpersonal skills, on-site experience and additional training as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) from the Association of Energy Engineers to our team.
Being a sports enthusiast growing up, Eric was a decorated athlete at Calvin. Participating in both basketball and track for all four years. He now enjoys running and is a competitive barefoot waterskier. In addition to athletics Eric spends his time volunteering at his church as a youth group leader and running the AV for services.
Mike Troupos, Systems Engineer

Mike graduated with a Bachelor's of Science - Civil Engineering from Calvin College. While at Calvin, Mike fulfilled a leadership role in Calvin’s green revolving fund, CERF. CERF uses donations to pay for energy efficiency projects; the monetary savings from those projects are then funneled back into CERF to fund new projects. This allows CERF to be completely sustainable. Through this experience, Mike has developed a passion for energy efficiency solutions and creative financing vehicles.
Mike considers himself to be one of the most curious person you will ever meet; he satisfies this curiosity through backpacking, traveling, and reading. With only 3 continents remaining, one of Mike’s life goals is to visit every continent of the world. Tasting the unique food that each culture has to offer is always a highlight of his travels. Delicious!

Mike Halbeisen has been in the energy industry for more than 27 years. His work experience includes positions in sales and management for nationally known companies like Shambaugh and Sylvania. Mike has also worked in facility management for the City of South Bend and the City of Holland. Mike’s expertise is in energy performance contracting, lighting retrofits and most importantly taking care of whatever energy needs his customers have.
Mike loves Nascar, the Detroit Lions, (Restore the Roar!) and his Grandson.
Brian Pageau, Business Development & Marketing

After graduating from Hope College with his teaching degree and briefly leading a classroom, Brian was presented an opportunity to help start a business. For five and a half years, Brian fulfilled a leadership position as the business grew to multiple locations and over 1,000 business clients. During that time Brian also helped launch a consumer product based company which has grown to a nationwide clientele.
Brian has been in the relationship business for over 30 years. He is passionate about strategic thinking, developing communication plans, networking, connecting people, marketing, leadership, and coaching high school basketball. Want to play golf? Give him a call!
