Midwest Energy Group has relationships with preferred financing institutions that specialize in educational and municipal lease financing. This relationship allows us to provide you financing and interest rates that are well below the normal market rate that may available to them.

Our company performs an intensive inspection of your facilities and building systems. We review HVAC data which includes space temperature, equipment electrical consumption, maintenance cost, building automation and life cycle analysis. We discuss building operations with maintenance personnel and building staff to determine what solution would work best to benefit the customer.

We review building lighting levels and develop an energy savings model which in most cases allows us to improve existing lighting levels while saving energy. One of the most important inspections that we perform is for fenestration improvements. Fenestration improvements would include simple exterior door adjustments, additional weather stripping around windows, or caulking to fix cracks in exterior walls. These fixes would can be very helpful in providing your building with some energy savings. Midwest Energy Group reviews the entire building envelope for any potential energy savings.

Upon completion of our energy audit, we review our findings with a representative of the owner for comment and acceptance. After acceptance of the energy audit and integration of any owner requirements, we begin the design stage. During the design stage, we ask the owner's representative for continual input. At the 50% complete stage, we submit and review the construction drawings and details for approval. Upon approval, the remaining 50% construction documents are completed. The final drawing are submitted to owner for their final approval.

Once the final construction documents are approved, we review any design or scope changes with our subcontractors for final budgeting. The project scope of work, cost, savings, and installation schedule are incorporated into the Guaranteed Savings Agreement (GSA). The GSA is a contract between our costumer and Midwest Energy Group which defines the final scope and installation of the energy conservation measures and the specific terms of the guaranteed savings of the project. Upon approval of the GSA, we enter into contracts with our energy subcontractors and the construction phase begins.

At the start of the construction phase, we will assign a project manager to the project. The project manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the construction project. The project manager will generate and submit the project schedule to the owner’s representative for approval. Upon approval, the project manager will schedule the subcontractors and product delivery. The project manager will perform site inspections, provide the owner with progress reports, and address any potential design changes.

At the completion of the project, Midwest Energy Group will provide all project close out and warranty documents. After the project's completion, we will collect and log all energy use and provide the owner with the required measurement and verification reports. We will continue to assist the owner as required to meet or exceed the energy savings.

At Midwest Energy Group our goal is to become a life-long energy partner.
